Greentech Power Solutions
This Installation & Service Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms and conditions for the installation of solar products and related services by Greentech Power Solutions (“Greentech”, “we”, or “us”) for the client (“Client”, “you”, or “Customer”). By accepting this Agreement or requesting installation services, the Client agrees to be bound by its terms.

2. Scope of Services
Greentech agrees to provide the following services:
- Delivery of solar products purchased from Greentech Power Solutions
- Professional installation of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment
- Testing, commissioning, and demonstration of installed systems
- Post-installation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance guidance
Additional services outside the scope may incur additional charges, which will be communicated in writing and agreed to before commencement.
3. Site Access & Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide safe, legal, and unhindered access to the installation site
- Ensure that all necessary permissions, approvals, and regulatory consents are obtained before installation
- Remove or secure any obstacles that may hinder installation
- Provide accurate site information including roof type, shading, and electrical layout
Greentech is not responsible for delays or damages caused by inadequate site access or incomplete information.
4. Installation Schedule
- Installation will commence after full payment (or agreed deposit) is received
- Estimated installation time will be communicated and may vary depending on site conditions, product availability, and unforeseen circumstances
- Standard installations are typically completed within 2–5 business days depending on system size
- Greentech will notify the Client of any delays as soon as practicable
5. Health, Safety, & Compliance
- All installations will comply with South African electrical and building standards
- Greentech adheres to occupational health and safety regulations during installation
- The Client must ensure that the site complies with safety regulations and that any hazards are disclosed
6. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made according to the agreed invoice schedule
- No installation will commence until the agreed deposit or full payment is received
- Late payments may delay installation and incur additional charges
7. Warranty & Service Guarantee
- All installed products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty
- Greentech provides a workmanship guarantee for installation defects for 12 months from installation date
- This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, electrical faults, environmental conditions, or modifications by third parties
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@gtpowersolutions.co.za with supporting details.
8. Client Acceptance & Testing
- After installation, Greentech will perform functional tests
- The Client will confirm that the system is installed and operating correctly
- Any issues detected during testing will be rectified before final handover
9. Liability & Limitation
- Greentech is responsible for damage caused by our installation team
- We are not liable for pre-existing structural or electrical issues discovered after installation
- Liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of installed products/services
This limitation does not affect statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Act 68 of 2008.
10. Returns & Refunds
- Returns for installed products are handled according to the Greentech Returns & Refund Policy
- Installation labour is non-refundable once work has commenced, unless required by law
11. Force Majeure
Greentech is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Extreme weather events
- Power outages
- Labour strikes
- Courier or supplier delays
- Government restrictions
12. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from this Agreement will first be attempted to resolve through negotiation
- If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or adjudicated in South African courts
- South African law governs this Agreement
13. Termination
This Agreement may be terminated by Greentech if:
- The Client fails to provide access or information required for installation
- Payment is not received as agreed
- The Client violates applicable laws or safety regulations
In the event of termination, fees for services rendered up to the termination date remain payable.
14. Client Acknowledgment
By requesting or signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges that:
- They have read and understood this Agreement
- They accept the terms and conditions
- They understand the warranty, refund, and service limitations
